Zeaxan Rating: Why Buyers Say 4.4 and We Say 3.5
The Zeaxan rating has two numbers. The order desk reports 4.4 out of 5 from 848 written reviews, which are not independently verified. Our editorial score is 3.5 out of 5, the average of six parts. Buyers praise the routine. We mark down the hidden amounts.

What is the Zeaxan rating, and where does it come from?
The Zeaxan rating is really two ratings, and they come from two different places. The first is the order desk, the team that takes orders and answers calls. It reports 4.4 out of 5 from 848 written reviews, out of 8,570 orders. The second is ours. The Zeaxan Editorial Desk scores the product 3.5 out of 5 after reading the label.
Both numbers are fair to print. They answer different questions. The buyer number asks how the routine felt to people who bought it. Our number asks how open the product is about what it contains. A product can feel easy to use and still be hard to judge, and Zeaxan is a good example.
Key facts

- The star split is 66% five, 21% four, 8% three, 3% two and 2% one.
- Our editorial score is 3.5 out of 5, the average of six scores.

How is the 4.4 Zeaxan rating from buyers built?
The desk gave us a star split, and we turned the percentages into rough counts. The counts are rounded, so treat them as a guide.
| Rating | Share of reviews | About how many of 848 |
|---|---|---|
| 5 stars | 66% | About 560 |
| 4 stars | 21% | About 178 |
| 3 stars | 8% | About 68 |
| 2 stars | 3% | About 25 |
| 1 star | 2% | About 17 |
Two thirds give five stars. Around 13% give three stars or fewer, which is about 110 people. The top complaint in that group is a slow start, not side effects. Some buyers wanted more to happen in week one.
These figures come from the order desk. No outside group has audited them, and every page on this site says so. Several review cards also share the same words, so read them as short summaries rather than detailed stories.
How is our 3.5 Zeaxan rating scored?
We score six parts out of 5 and print the table so you can disagree with any line.
| Part | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Label transparency | 2 / 5 | 11 ingredients named; no amounts; vitamins without amounts |
| Dose vs. research | 1.5 / 5 | Eye pigments tenth and fifth; salt first |
| Ease of use | 4.5 / 5 | 2 capsules once a day |
| Seller and support | 4.5 / 5 | Stocking partner, phone line, lot number |
| Guarantee | 4 / 5 | 60 days; buyer pays return shipping |
| Buyer feedback | 4.5 / 5 | 848 written reviews, 91% recommend |
The arithmetic is plain. The six scores add up to 21, and 21 divided by 6 is 3.5. Notice that three parts score 4.5 and that two parts score 2 or lower. The low ones are about the label, and the high ones are about the experience around it.
Why do the two Zeaxan rating numbers differ?
Buyers rate the experience. We rate the evidence. A person who finds the capsules easy to take, reaches a helpful phone line and is happy with the guarantee can give five stars. None of that tells you how much lutein or zeaxanthin was in the capsule.
Our two lowest scores are about exactly that. Lutein is fifth in the list and zeaxanthin is tenth, below the salt. If 5% marks a 5% extract, the most they could hold is about 6 mg and about 3 mg. The AREDS2 study used 10 mg and 2 mg. Because the real amounts are not published, we cannot score the dose higher than 1.5 out of 5 and stay honest. The Zeaxan honest review walks through the same gap in prose.
What can a Zeaxan rating not tell you?
Neither number measures your eyes. No buyer in the sample reports a test before and after, and the label makes no such claim. The bottle says only Supports Eye Health and Supports Comfort.
- It cannot say what the capsules did inside anyone's body.
- It cannot replace an eye exam.
- It cannot tell you whether you are in the group that waits 4 to 8 weeks or the group that wants a change sooner.
- It cannot confirm that every reviewer is a real buyer, since the figures are not independently verified.
If your sight changes suddenly, a rating is no help. Blurry vision, eye pain, flashes or a shower of floaters need an eye doctor the same day.
How should you use the Zeaxan rating before you buy?
Use it as a prompt for questions, not as an answer.
Read the low end
The 3-star and lower reviews say more about fit than the 5-star ones.
Look at the day of use
A day-22 card and a day-58 card describe different stages of a trial.
Check the label yourself

Plan the guarantee
If most reviewers wait 4 to 8 weeks, you want a plan that ends before day 60.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Zeaxan rating?
The order desk reports 4.4 out of 5 from 848 written reviews across 8,570 orders. Our own editorial score is 3.5 out of 5. They measure different things.
Are the Zeaxan ratings verified?
No. The order-desk figures are not independently verified, and the site says so wherever it shows them.
How is the 3.5 score worked out?
Six parts are scored out of 5: label transparency, dose compared with research, ease of use, seller and support, guarantee and buyer feedback. The six scores add up to 21, and 21 divided by 6 is 3.5.
Why is dose compared with research scored so low?
The label prints no amount for lutein or zeaxanthin, salt is listed first and zeaxanthin is tenth of eleven. The research doses cannot be matched to the label.
What share of reviewers recommend Zeaxan?
The order desk reports 91%. Most reviewers say they waited 4 to 8 weeks before judging.
Does a high rating mean Zeaxan works?
No. A rating shows how a routine felt. No study has tested this formula, and the label claims only support.

Our view
We think both Zeaxan numbers deserve a place on the page. The 4.4 shows that buyers liked the routine and the guarantee. The 3.5 shows why we still hesitate: the amounts are not printed. If a future label lists each ingredient, our score would rise.
Until then, take the rating as a conversation starter. Read the label, keep your eye exams and decide before day 60. This page is general information, not medical advice.
